helpful staffcozy roomcovered areaawkward walk
The staff were really helpful, they guided us to our rooms and explained the key usage! the room felt much bigger than i thought. it was still really cozy, i loved that. i also appreciated the big beer garden with a covered area. It's perfect for smokers like me!
The private bathroom wasn't directly connected to the room, so it was a short walk down the corridor. this was a bit awkward during the night. I wish it was en-suite!

Charming Stay Near Southmead

helpful staffclean roomcomfortable roomgreat beer
I chose this accommodation because it was very close to Southmead hospital. The staff were helpful and friendly making our visit easier. The room was clean and very comfortable for the duration of my stay. The beer selection was great in the bar area.
The room was above the pub so noise did travel up until closing.

The bed was large and comfortable. the staff were lovely, they couldn't have been more helpful! graham was especially great. He sourced me a hairdryer. i also liked that residents get 10% off all food and drink purchased there.
there were no coat hangers and no hair dryer. the rooms seem geared toward working men on short stays, not couples like us. the lack of these things was a bit inconvenient for my needs.

full parking lotbroken shower head
I was annoyed that the parking lot was full, forcing me to park on the street. the shower head was broken, it couldn't be fixed up high (this was really frustrating). plus, getting into the building after midnight was a hassle. The back gate was jammed. it seems maintenance isn't a priority, disappointing.
